Why does everyone love The Moroccan Tagine?

A Moroccan Tagine without meat?!
I was always a meat lover, as I know myself, I can never be totally vegetarian or vegan. Even if I know that being vegetarian is healthier, but I just love meat, I can’t help it 🙂
This doesn’t mean that we don’t have vegetarian Tagines, we do have them and they are so yummy, it’s just because we love meat 😉
When did my passion for cooking start?
I do love cooking, and I learned cooking when I was at a young age. My first trial was at age 12 and it wasn’t bad at all.
I learned cooking because I had to. My mom passed away when I was 25, I didn’t have much time to learn, as I was busy studying.
I didn’t get all the recipes from her, So how did I get back these textures and tastes?
I found my way, I used to help her in the kitchen and I remembered the smell.
So when I started cooking by myself I was trying to remember the exact smell of spices in order to do it her way, she used to be a very good cook, God bless her soul!
It was a challenge, it wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible. I have tried my best until I found it and it was a big Urahhh!
When I started travelling, there I discovered that people love the Moroccan Tagine!
I’ve travelled to many countries, one of whom was Qatar, there, I had a very multicultural environment with friends from different cultures and backgrounds, it was amazing! And of course I have discovered again the power of the Moroccan culture and how much people like Morocco and everything related to Morocco, especially the Moroccan Tagine. I can now understand why the Moroccan Tagine is appreciated by everyone, the blend of spices and smells lead our tastebuds to magical places beyond expectations!
Then all started with this Tagine 🙂

I was proud of my culture and proud of my Tagine. This feeling made me create Moroccan Way https://www.moroccanway.ca when I immigrated to Canada.
Hind, my sister, and I decided to jump to this new adventure and bring this Moroccan culture to North America, not only bringing few products from here and there, but bringing the whole culture.
Morocco means colours, joy, happiness, nice smells, Best oils, best spices and many other things.
Let’s jump, let’s do it!
So doing this big jump was a big part of leaving my comfort zone of being a procurement manager working in construction projects to having an online business and diving into a totally new world for me, because let me tell you my secret, I hate technology!
But now, technology is going to be my new friend and my new world, it makes me meet beautiful people like you who loves the Moroccan culture and love the Moroccan Tagine.
Thank you sweet Tagine for this beautiful energy and super power you gave me!
Because now, not only I will start cooking Tagines and sharing them with you guys, but I will give you too this SUPER POWER to cook the Moroccan Tagine and make this big jump you need to do in your life.
With love & passion
